 The Carisbrooke Inn is a luxury bed and breakfast located
a few hundred feet from the boardwalk and beach on the Southern shores
of New Jersey. We are less than ten blocks from Atlantic City
and just two miles from the center of the Atlantic City Casinos.
This one hundred year old building retains many of the
historic elements of the arts and crafts era, the time when it was
constructed but has been renovated to include the most modern of
amenities such as large flat panel HDTV's, WiFi, private baths in every
room and in our spa rooms, whirlpool tubs or steam rooms. Unlike
many bed and breakfasts we do not clutter our
rooms with antiques and collectables. Our nine guest rooms
are elegantly and uniquely appointed with luxury beds and linens, plush
towels and high end bath amenities. Each room has modern comfort
with a sense of the historic age of the building.

those coming from New York. Atlantic City has changed and morphed
over the past five to ten years into a true world class resort which
many people do not realize.
We boast twelve world class casinos, over 100
restaurants, and over 200 shops ranging from small boardwalk boutiques
to more than 75 outlets of The Walk to the world renowned stores of The Pier.
The city has a constant calendar of entertainment
ranging from the local St. Patrick's day parade to concerts and shows
from such artists as Elton John, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Yanni,
American Idol Tour, Fleetwood Mac, The Killers, Jimmy Buffett, Jerry
Seinfeld, and many many more. We host festivals like the  AC Beer
Festival "Celebration of The Suds", the Atlantic City Food and
Wine Festival, the seafood festival, and much more. There
is always something to do in the city that is "Always Turned On!".
Atlantic City is one of the easiest places to get to
from New York City and the surrounding areas. You can come by bus, by train, by
auto, and by helicopter. The new ACES train comes
direct from Manhattan to Atlantic City with just one stop in
Newark. It's a fast, comfortable way to get here and with a two
night stay or more (at regular rates) we will provide transportation to
and from the train station with 24 hours prior notice. 
The Carisbrooke Inn and Atlantic City is a perfect
weekend vacation for any New Yorker, anyone living in Manhattan or any
of the boroughs of New York. It's easier to get to and has much
more to do than the beaches on Long Island or out on the Hamptons.
