recording group Straight No Chaser from July 2-Aug.
28. The acclaimed all male 10-member a cappella
group will make an extended stop in Atlantic City
following their nearly sold-out US tour in support of
their new album album “WITH A TWIST” (Atlantic)
which will be released April 13, and new PBS concert
special, LIVE IN NEW YORK. The album features
delightfully different renditions of modern classics like
Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Under The Bridge,” Coldplay’s
“Fix You,” Crowded House’s “Don’t Dream It’s Over,”
and Oasis’ “Wonderwall.”

The series is part of Harrah’s Entertainment’s ongoing commitment to bring fans an excellent
and diverse roster of quality music artists to their various venues. “We are very excited about
hosting Straight No Chaser for this exclusive summer concert series,” comments Jay Snowden,
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Harrah’s Resort and Showboat Atlantic City. “This
series is a perfect example of the kind of acclaimed musical talent that Harrah’s Resort aims to
provide for our guests and why Atlantic City continues to be a great destination for live music
and entertainment.”
Founded at Indiana University in the fall of 1996, Straight No Chaser’s goal was to expand the
boundaries of the traditional college a cappella group. The group broke onto the music scene in
2008 with their stellar holiday-themed debut “HOLIDAY SPIRITS,” which featured their
remarkable vocals on re-energized holiday classics such as “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Carol of the
Bells,” and “Auld Lang Syne.” Fueled by appearances on ABC World News Tonight, CNN
Headline News, and NBC’s Today, among others, the album spent 14 days in the #1 slot on
Amazon, and 5 days at the top spot overall on iTunes. The group followed up their success with
“CHRISTMAS CHEERS” in 2009, which broke into the top 10 on Billboard’s seasonal albums
