A 7 foot tall Baby T.Rex stomps down the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, N.J., Thursday, July 9, 2009. The dinosaur made an appearance in front of Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall to accept Proclamations from the city and state, designating the month of September as "Dinosaur Week" in Atlantic City and to promote Walking With Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular, which will make its first appearance in the area this September when it plays the city's historic entertainment venue, Boardwalk Hall. The dinosaur will be greeting local children and Boardwalk visitors to celebrate the show’s first-ever appearance in Atlantic City. This amazing show features a paleontologist/narrator who takes the audience on a 90-minute journey through the 200 million year reign of these giant prehistoric creatures.
Showtimes are as follows: 7 PM shows Wednesday Sept. 2, Thursday Sept. 3 and Friday Sept. 4; 11 AM, 3 PM and 7 PM shows Saturday Sept. 5; 1 and 5 PM shows Sunday Sept. 6.
