A different kind of dining

I'm finally catching my breath a bit and had the chance to participate in the latest Greater Atlantic City Concierge Association event at The Melting Pot in Atlantic City.

The wonderful owners and staff at The Melting Pot were very gracious treating the AC Concierges to an evening of tasting their delectable fondus.   Sipping a glass of white wine and dipping some bread into the cheese fondu made me remember my may trips to Southern France and to Switzerland in my former life as a corporate manger.

What more can I say:  The food was wonderful and the atmosphere really great.   Although we were in a large group, the ambiance would also be perfect for a romantic evening with that special someone.   Whether you are with your romantic interest or just good friends the beautiful thing about a fondu dinner is it is intimate, relaxing and personal.   It is not rushed.   You have time to taste your food and enjoy the company and conversation of the people you are with.

If you have never tried fondu, I highly recommend it.   It's a great experience.   In fact I enjoyed it so much I went back as a regular customer when my friend Rob came to visit this past weekend and may talk my sister into going this coming weekend when she comes to visit.
