There are truly wonderful people in this world. Many are so thoughtful. This past Wednesday I hosted my third "Evenings of Art" event at the inn and had a tremendous turnout. It was really a fun, wonderful evening. One of folks who came to the event was Miriam Holzman. As it turns out she too is a local artist and very much enjoyed the event. Today, I received my mail and much to my surprise was a box. Inside the box was a beautiful hand painted wine glass with The Carisbrooke Inn logo, which Miriam was so kind to send. It is these tiny little gestures that happen over and over that remind me how many good people there are in the world. It is also these little things that make me realize how lucky I am that I have the privilege of owning and running the inn.
