Relax and Indulge

I seldom relax and occasionally indulge, but yesterday I did a bit of both and thought it was worth writing about.   After breakfast, I spent much of the day working with one of my summer students painting the fences around the 2nd floor deck.  Yes, I know, a crazy thing to do on a sunny Sunday afternoon in the summer.   Actually, getting outside and doing some physical activity was relaxation in itself for me and let's face it you really can't beat the view from The Carisbrooke Inn front deck.   While I was painting I decided to treat myself to a massage later in the day.   Gary, one of our three massage therapists was free in the afternoon so I booked him to come around 5PM.    In the meantime I saw my neighbor, Sandy, who loves massage and she decided to book one too.    Let me just say, we both went to dinner afterwards commenting about what an amazing job he did.   I for one felt more relaxed and my muscles felt more stress free than I have in a long time.   I  highly recommend folks who are vacationing here to consider booking a massage.  It's very affordable and can make your vacation that much better.
